Bird Hunting

Quality over quantity

If your goal is to shoot 1,000 doves in a day you have come to the wrong place.  When it comes to bird hunting, our interests run toward quality rather than quantity.  And for us, that means upland birds over pointing dogs and decoyed ducks.  We sometimes add decoyed pigeon hunts to the mix, which provides a very similar challenge to dove shooting, albeit at a more manageable pace!

Our upland bird trips in northern Argentina commonly include mixed-bag days of ducks in the morning and perdiz over dogs in the afternoon.  Sandwich an authentic asado lunch and perhaps a siesta between the two at mid day and if there’s a better way to spend a day bird hunting, we haven’t found it!
